School boards oversee large portfolios of facilities and properties.  Maintenance and Capital Planning require up-to-date information and drawings, of everything from building hardware, systems, equipment and furniture.  In addition to regular management, allocation of funding renovation and expansion are factors as well.  All of these aspects adhere to provincial or state standards, and are under the scrutiny of the taxpayer.  Efficiency and detailed accuracy are key.
